The prime example is the forefather of the genre itself, the farming simulator, in which passers-by don’t even jump out of the way, but are simply faded out gradually when you ram them. When I think of farming simulations, I think of nasty, sterile graphics and gameplay that doesn’t even shape any element of the world, that doesn’t have anything to do with the central game mechanics. Farm manager for beginners who has fewer vehicles than the farming simulator, but still feels rounder.
